While not quite as powerful or long lasting as premium commercial batteries, they are still strong and long-lived, and less than 1/4 the price of the commercial ones.
For what you pay, they are very hard to beat.

Comments about Ryder CR123A Non-Rechargeable Lithium Battery, 3.0V, 1300mAh:

OK, I bought 10 batteries for my two Nikon SU-800 wireless speedlight commanders. It is the only device I own that uses these batteries, so 10 should last a long while.
I bought these because they are cheap, and I was sick of paying $6+ for one of these at retail. Since I only just got them, I cannot vouch as to the service or shelf life, but they look very well-made, and fit the devices perfectly. At less than a buck apiece, I am currently very satisfied.

I usually research high end products and look for those qualities in a product that offers them to me at better bang for my buck. This battery is one of them. This battery offers value offering long lasting performance, at a great price. In these times of hardship when big companies are making record profits at the blood and sweat of the middle class we the middle class must answer back with our dollar. The only language they understand. This not one of those companies.

We tried these batteries for our SureFire flashlights, but were sceptical as to if they would last, given the 75% reduction in price over the SureFire batteries, you can understand our curiosity. I'm happy to say that the brightness of our flashlights is exactly the same, and the duration of hours the battery lasts is comprable to the SureFire brand. Great, Great find, don't hesitate to purchase!!

I purchased these batteries for my Brite Strike tactical flashlight (BD-198-HLS), which requires two CR123 batteries. I work as a security officer on the night shift, and I use my flashlight often as part of the job. I have read on some "flashlight nerd" forums that people are worried about leakage or corrosion from these batteries, and I have not experienced that thus far, and I would be very concerned about that too, as my flashlight cost almost $200 out of my own pocket. This is now my second order from cr123batteries[@], and as long as these are sold at the ridiculously low price they are sold for, I will keep buying from here.

Used in tactical flashlights. We have had them for 3 weeks, so it is unknow how long they will last. Works great in Surefire 6P, 6P with LED heads and E2L Outdoorsman. Also worked in Olight M21 Warrior high output LED. Batteries ran all the lights just as bright as the name brand batteries. Best buy I could find. This is a great value for our police department.

One of the cameras I shoot with is an older Sigma SD9 that takes two of these batteries and can go through a set of batteries in a day of heavy use. At this price, I can afford to pick up 36 or so batteries at a time and keep a ready supply handy. This is also the same battery that my home's alarm system window sensors run on, so its nice to have some extras on hand if a a battery goes dead on the network. Nice to find a reasonable prices battery that works well for once.

Testing them in flashlights from [...]. The supplied batteries from [...] are rated at 1500 mAh, whereas these are 1300 mAh. So you get a little less run time, but the output seems to be the same. I just wish the date of manufacture was stamped onto the battery. These are supposed to have 10 year shelf life, but that's only valid if you know the manufacture date. Still, for less than a dollar per battery, they make a good backup battery or just buy a bunch and use them as primary batteries. Best deal out there for CR123.
