Comments about Ryder CR123A Non-Rechargeable Lithium Battery, 3.0V, 1300mAh:

I have gone thru 39 of these batteries in a flashlight in the last year. They last the same amount of time as the Surefire and other high dollar 123s.
I just ordered another 40 of them and will continue to use them on my weapon mounted light.

Comments about Ryder CR123A Non-Rechargeable Lithium Battery, 3.0V, 1300mAh:

I purchased these batteries for my Brite Strike tactical flashlight (BD-198-HLS), which requires two CR123 batteries. I work as a security officer on the night shift, and I use my flashlight often as part of the job. I have read on some "flashlight nerd" forums that people are worried about leakage or corrosion from these batteries, and I have not experienced that thus far, and I would be very concerned about that too, as my flashlight cost almost $200 out of my own pocket. This is now my second order from cr123batteries[@], and as long as these are sold at the ridiculously low price they are sold for, I will keep buying from here.

Comments about Ryder CR123A Non-Rechargeable Lithium Battery, 3.0V, 1300mAh:

I use the batteries in my home alarm system and in an old 35mm camera. The National Trade batteries perform as well as batteries, sold in other places, that cost many times what I paid National Trade Supply for them. The blank covering on the batteries should not be a deterrent - they're good!

Comments about Ryder CR123A Non-Rechargeable Lithium Battery, 3.0V, 1300mAh:

Use CR123 solely for small flashlights and weapon lights....skeptical that these batteries would last as long as brand names or as long as specs say they should last. Did side by side tests in 2 cell Blackhawk light and batteries were supposed to last 90 minutes...batteries went for almost 2 hours of continuous use.

Great price and value - my Sekonic light meter and Fuji S2Pro cameras utilize CR123 type batteries. These work well in both applications! The S2 is a power-hungry camera and these appear to last as well as the name brand alkyline batteries in this camera for 1/10th of the cost.

At [$]/piece, you can buy many of these lithium batteries, and not necessarily have to worry too much about performance. I go through CR123 batteries quite often in my duty flashlight, and the name brand batteries can cost in excess of $4/piece, so if nothing else, you can stock enough of these to the point that it would not matter. I have only had these installed in my flashlight a few weeks, and they have held up the same as the name brand batteries.

One of the cameras I shoot with is an older Sigma SD9 that takes two of these batteries and can go through a set of batteries in a day of heavy use. At this price, I can afford to pick up 36 or so batteries at a time and keep a ready supply handy. This is also the same battery that my home's alarm system window sensors run on, so its nice to have some extras on hand if a a battery goes dead on the network. Nice to find a reasonable prices battery that works well for once.

Testing them in flashlights from [...]. The supplied batteries from [...] are rated at 1500 mAh, whereas these are 1300 mAh. So you get a little less run time, but the output seems to be the same. I just wish the date of manufacture was stamped onto the battery. These are supposed to have 10 year shelf life, but that's only valid if you know the manufacture date. Still, for less than a dollar per battery, they make a good backup battery or just buy a bunch and use them as primary batteries. Best deal out there for CR123.

I was skeptical at first about buying an off brand in quantity to sell in my store. But, after I used them personally in my surefire light and my customers used them, I was convinced. These are just as good or better than the name brand (energizer, duracell) at a fraction of the cost. When you go to one of the large Wally stores and spend $5-$6 each on the same thing and get the same quality, this is a "no brainer". I have sold out of the first order and getting ready to place a second larger order.

I used these units to rebuild my Bosch 18v cordless battery packs that where originally made with 2.4 ah nicads. After rebuilding them with the 3.8 NMh units, the performance of my drills, jigsaw, sawsall, and skill saw was awsome. I found out afterwords that the charger was bad the whole time killing the original packs and dying trying to charge the new rebuilt packs so I did have to buy a new universal charger that listed NMh capability on it. All said and done, the rebuilt packs cost me[$] a piece to rebuild and saving me on 4 units $200.00 dollars total compaired to purchasing new Bosch or even generic 2.4 nicad packs. An now I have the only 3.8 NMh packs around.

I use these in my flashlight, which gets used a lot in my work. My light eats batteries on a regular basis.
These batteries are replacing the 5-6 dollar per pair batteries I am forced to buy locally.
I have found no fault in this brand so far. They're lasting as long as all the others, and no failures.

Ok CELLS (they are NOT batteries, they are lithium primary cells) LOW CURRENT ("1300 mA" looks good, but check the discharge curves before getting TOO excited about a 90 cent price tag). These units cant source high current for a long time. They WONT work in my High Powered Tactical Light as they dont have enough current capacity, but will work OK in lesser applications.

As always I shopped around (stores, on-line) and this is the best price I found for non-rechargeable CR123A (for a wireless alarm sensor). It's 4 out of 5 since it's too early to tell how long the battery will last. Would have liked to see an expiration date, but the battery ships out of package. Otherwise, it's all good so far.

I am tired of paying 15X times more the cost to buy these CR123A batteries at Radio Shack, or Ritz Camera. This Tenergy brand CR123A batteries last as long as other name brand. I used these Tenergy CR123A for my flashlights, and dog collar, and I am very very very happy how long these batteries last, and not mention the huge $$$$ I am going to save. And really huge savings on a great products

Comments about Ryder CR123A Non-Rechargeable Lithium Battery, 3.0V, 1300mAh:

I have lots of flash and tactical lights. These are just as powerful as the high priced batteries. These even have more of a quality construction look to them than some of the others. I have only been using them for a month now but they are performing flawlessly. I've noticed that these don't flicker around with partial pressure on the lights tail button. They have the power to "grab" the connection. [...] I would purchase again. Thanks!

Name brands batteries of this type are ridiculously expensive and probably don't perform as well. And because these batteries are often used emergency equipment, you can't afford to buy something expensive and have extras. These were so cheap I bought twice as many as I will need, knowing that I'll have spares if I need them.
